Regergitated NEWS....... Reporters are Getting Lazy

Tonight on my local news they did three story's that they already did last week.

These were not updates to those stories but they reported them as if they happened today.

Yesterday a reporter at the same channel was doing a report on a LearJet that had landing gear issues in St Louis and in Seattle it was covered as BREAKING NEWS and the script did not match what was being shown on tv. I emailed the reporter and asked if it really was necessary to report that story as BREAKING in the Seattle market and then told her that term is the most over exploited term in broadcasting.

On the stories tonight I emailed the director and he emailed me from hi IPhone and said he will reply in full to my issue tomorrow, I told the station that I thought reporters were getting lazy and I wished they would do some real investigative journalism and stop treating the viewer like we a stupid.

They literally do the same stories every god damn year. Same human interest pieces, same bullshit when it snows for the first time. Sweeps is the worst.

And then there were the test strip screens just before it went to dead-air fuzz.

I remember when sports shows were live coverage of events, not just recycled replays of things that happened in who knows what game at who knows what time. They repeat the same sequences of clips every ten minutes. TV is a waste of time. If you want information, you need a newspaper and the Internet.
