Sorry, we can't afford an increase in the minimum wage, our economy is barely getting by as it is

I mean how are we supposed to fund CEO wages making 400 times more than the entry level positions, private jets, lobbyists, Cayman Islands tax shelters, bonuses, unlimited corporate contributions, and more if we increase the minimum wage? Don't you liberals ever think about who really matters here... the people at the top?!

no advocacy for solutions. Everything posted is an attack or cynicism.

Congress is only useful if they're writing letters to the President.

In fairness, there are members of Congress who have advanced good legislation, but who is pushing Congress to do anything about it?
