the election does not matter. It does not matter they lost because the voters were wrong. And now the voter and the US must be punished with a series of crises they will create. Sequestration is step one. Government shut down is step 2.

Vote for us or else. We can make it as bad as you want until people who did not support them surrender.

It seems obvious by now that they will hold the country hostage forever until they get their way.

I know that what I have just said is brutal, but we are where we are. The GOP is more serious than ever that it will create a depression to get their way. And US citizens will suffer and die over their intransigence.

What makes me really mad is that Obama won't fight. He is still trying to give them Social Security and Medicare cuts for a little revenue. Maybe they will give a couple of nickels.

know are furious they lost. The sense I get is that it does not matter they are going to have their way anyway. The hatred for Obama even by regular Republicans is worse than ever.

The nation GOP leadership plans on making him a one termer by having four years of nothing happening except their agenda. They will booby trap all their legislation and threaten shut down unless what they want is passed even if 90% of the public does not want it. Meanwhile they will work to make sure that they win enough elections to keep everything frozen politically.
