Tamron Hall To CNN? Jeff Zucker Looking At MSNBC Host For Mornings: Page Six....

Another day, another piece of CNN gossip.

For those not hanging on every twist and turn in the network's reinvention, a quick recap: the "old" conventional wisdom that Erin Burnett would be moving from her 7 PM slot to join Chris Cuomo in the mornings, has given way to a new "other things might be happening" conventional wisdom. Gossip sites have been saying that Burnett wants a lot of cash to move to the AM show, which is being revamped and moved in a more "GMA"-style direction.

The latest? Page Six said on Monday that CNN chief Jeff Zucker is now looking elsewhere in case his plans for Burnett fall through. MSNBC's Tamron Hall, who is a regular presence on "Today," is apparently on the list, as are other CNN hosts like Brooke Baldwin. Hall has a good thing going at NBC, but the pipeline to the coveted "Today" hosting gig is very clogged — Willie Geist and Natalie Morales are both ahead of Hall, and Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer don't appear to be going anywhere.

Is any of it true? Well, it makes more sense than those Ann Curry rumors.

1. I'd watch Cuomo and Hall, but not Cuomo and that dingbat Burnett.

I usually watch Soledad in the morning, but once she's gone, I may have to leave the TV off during the early morning hours. I love Tamron Hall and think she would do well on a morning show. She has a great sense of humor and is very personable.....if that's the direction they're planning to go. I'd prefer a hard news show, but it sounds like Zucker is aiming for infotainment.

On at 9 pacific time. She's whip smart, and has excellent guests and excellent topics.
