Some interesting stats about horses and cattle.


From UN websites, and Wikipedia:

World HORSE population: 60 million.

World CATTLE population: 1.3 billion.

In other words, for every horse there are more than 20 cows. Something about this "horse meat" scandal doesn't ring true to me...
