State Department Keystone XL Study completely Ignores Impact on Climate Change

It contains a section called: “Climate Change Impacts on the Proposed Project”, while totally ignoring the devastating effects the tar sands will have on climate change.

So, they are worried that Climate Change might mess up their pipeline construction plans? But no worries about the "game over for climate change" impact the tar sands will have on our childrens future?

That is just absolutely warped.

With their Trillions in ill-gotten profit, they think they can just jet to somewhere "nice." Leaving us peons with nothing more than zero.

I wish I could be more optimistic but with the polluters buying politicians, massive disinformation campaigns and the number of the public who now believe that disinformation, I have to think we're fucked.

and the report makes no mention of the environmental cost of this filthy nasty fuel, so I will believe it when I see it.

Climate change is gradual, but a state's drinking water could be ruined in one day if the accident were bad enough. I fear that some of the pipes will rupture and pump this sludge into the ground for days before anyone notices.
