I mean very few are well read enough to know the relative platforms, cerebral but they're still stupid because they're just being doctrinaire team players. 9 out of 10 who vote republican do so solely because of social issues, mostly guns and religion. The same lunkheads will still complain about corporate heavy-handedness toward them and yet have the absolute inability to connect the dots and see that it's just a manifestation of the conservative corporate fascists getting their way policy-wise. They treat it like it's an isolated incident and wave their flags and blabber about the next big game.
