Because if it was President Obama's idea, there would be 20-30 bills in the House right now to undo/overturn it, just like there were multiple bills introduced to overturn Obamacare.

2. Never mind that ALL legislation originates in Congress.

And, that ALL legislation must get through Congress in the first place, before the President can sign off on it. Not to mention that the House was controlled by the REPUBLICANS, and that there are not enough Democrats in it to pass anything on their own. The republicans really DO think we are all idiots.

The right wing media would be arguing for repeal instead of telling people that it's not going to be that bad and Obama is just trying to scare everyone. Their behavior says it all. Any real Obama victory would become a do or die mission to "STOP TYRANNY!"
