What disappointed me in them this last election was, they didn't use their power to put forward and/or support true progressive candidates to primary DINOs like Feinstein. Feinstein had a very strong contender, but even as I posted about him here and asked that DU support him, he got less votes than Orly Taitz! What was the end result of not having removed Feinstein? She voted against changing the filibuster rule, as did the other "progressive" Barbara Boxer. This was a MAJOR disappointment.

We also need to make the change in our own hearts and minds and begin to fight to give these entrenched senators and congresscritters term limits. The ONLY way to realize term limits for congresscritters is to tell ourselves - and believe it - that it's time to vote a certain person out, because if we wait for these same congresscritters to pass a term limits bill, we can wait till kingdom come. I mean, would you vote to fire yourself? Change, as President Obama has said over and over again, comes from the bottom up and the middle out.
