The moral compass for this world has been reset to zero. Pistorius released on bail, Pope in

scandal, rethugs full of hate openly and condoned by a cheering following, rape seen as normal, violence on women needing to be debated, gun control, after killing of innocent children, has to be debated. hatred by people like Mitch McConnel, John McCain, and Lindsey Graham is accepted and not challenged by the mainstream media, and on and on and on and on.

Bail is normal. Debating gun issues is normal.

It's just another day in the world, really. The global moral compass, to the extent such a thing exists, is right where it always is.

Just kidding re the guns, but the world seems motivated by fear and loathing as HST liked to say. Those in control use fear of some and hatred towards the rest to keep the masses in line. We all need a hug.

Take a few breaths. Things are bad, we all know it, but we have to work to make it better for ourselves and our future. More people are becoming aware of how truly corrupt things are and as more people see the truth the better we can fight it off.

Breath, calm, and work for the future. It's all we can do.

15. I was thinking last night that the world seems to go in cycles of truly insane behaviour.

was watching the original "scarlet pimpernel" with leslie howard, and thinking about the reign of terror, and the holocaust, and the absolute insanity that seems to be our modern world. came to no conclusions other than that humanity seems to go through such horrors periodically. will this be the last? we have so many more ways to be horribly insane these days.

and yet, I don't think it is entirely hopeless. take a break for a day or two from all the news, all the crazy.
