1. #2 hit it spot on IMO. There are so many potentials for abuse the list is endless. It lends itself

directly into a police state. Surveillance will be unstoppable, a horrid place to live. To me, the US is on the cusp of some potentially really bad times depending on whom TPTB will become in the coming years.

Guns, when they were invented or given to cops. Wiretaps, when they were invented. Computers, when they were invented. DNA tests. But, they can also contribute to more accurate ID of the guilty and cut down on bad convictions of the not guilty.

And all it can do it get worse. Right now our Government is OK with killing Americans overseas with drones, how long will it be until they do it at home. And not a single judge or jury in the loop anywhere.

I havent heard about this, do you have a link?
As for the American government using drones to kill Americans in the homeland,i cant imagine a scenario where this would happen, what would be the point? if you really wanted to eliminate your people nuclear options would be far more effective.
