The practice of medicine was designed to improve people’s health. And the school of medicine should not be taken part in either training or research that is primarily designed to enhance military objectives."

Yale is where the children of aristocrats can join the Skull and Bones, a place where they are required to ritually desecrate Geranimo's skull, ensuring a comfort level with the injustice and evil that form the basis of their power. It is where the scions of power rub elbows with each other and with their more talented and loyal servants in preparation for running the Empire.

The Interrogation Center is the sort of thing that fifteen years ago would have been done at the School of the Americas (or whatever whitewash name it has this week) but times change. The Empire is getting meaner, and someone decided that it is time to teach the young blue bloods how to attach the electrodes. The abstracted cruelty they learn as Bonesmen is no longer considered sufficient.
