The country is yours, this you know... However, you're forced to maintain that ownership by coercing all of the non-owners to support your status through fear-mongering, class warfare, an appeal to ones greedy and selfish nature and outright bullying.
Being a Republican means that you're entitled to profit off of the public good.
Being a Republican means that your white, WASPish ways are the Gold Standard and anything else can't fully represent America.
Being a Republican means that you stand on the shoulders of tyranny of Patriarchy and Hetero-normality, in spite of your own gender or sexual orientation.
Being a Republican means that you're willing to usurp secular law for the sake of codifying Christian religious dogma.
Being a Republican means that you're entitled to profit from a war machine that slaughters helpless people in foreign lands and imprisons the poor and minorities within American shores.
Being a Republican means that you're willing create upheaval for all in order to satisfy your petty whims.
Being a Republican means that your own hypocrisy is preferable to cooperation and good order.
Being a Republican means that you can deny whatever is in front of you, especially if it may cost you a pittance in order to solve a problem.
Being a Republican means that you're right, even when you're very, very wrong.
Being a Republican means that you're willing to do and say anything to keep your ownership status, no matter how much misery the masses have to suffer and struggle needlessly, fear for their own safety and future and wallow in abject ignorance.
As long as you have all of these things, being a Republican means that you've got it made... But you have to always look over your shoulder though.
If the people finally wake up and see how you've left them behind, they may decide to catch out to you and put you in your place.
If that happens, what good is it to be a Republican then?

(1,135 posts)But, unfortunately, most republicans won't be able to comprehend what you wrote. I don't get why anyone with an ounce of humanity would want to be a neo-con. Maybe it's a congenital deformity in their thinking?
Definitely willful ignorance in many or what I call lazy, bobble-headed thinking.
