Leopards don't change their spots. Unfortunately, Harry Reid either doesn't know that, is unable to comprehend that, or is complicit in that. If I were him, I'd be too embarrassed to show my face in the Senate. I'd just call in my resignation and slither out of town. He is useless in that position, IMO.

(9,612 posts)5. A successful Hagel filibuster will accomplish two things.
First, it will keep an openly, aggressively bigoted man out of the Pentagon.
Two, it will finally wake up Harry Reid (or at least some other Democrats) to the fact that he can't trust the Republicans.
The way I see it? Win, win.
