Ok, stupid me just received a ring up showing me how neuronally challenged I can be.

For many years I have had a standing order for red roses to be sent to my Mum on Valentines Day. As many of you know, she passed on Jan 21st this year. Well, idiot me completely forgot about it and so didn't cancel the order. The florist just rang me saying the driver couldn't get access to her building and if I could give them a unit number they could buzz to leave them with. So, with my heart in my throat I informed them of her passing and apologized. They were sweet as can be and said they would credit my card. However, I told them no and could they please buzz Mum's good mate in 303 and deliver them to her. Now, to cancel my standing reservations for tonight.

At least you gave them your business by giving the flowers to a close friend of your Mom's. Hard Assets Feb 2013 #2

I heard a real funny on Stephanie Miller last week and right away rang up my Mum only to hear "This number is no longer in service" and absolutely broke down. I thought I was daft beyond help but good to know I'm not alone in this.
