(46,416 posts)Hopefully there really are 5 Repubs who don't want to be total assholes who will let him get confirmed. Problem is, the vote is on Friday, and if it fails--meaning that someone has lied to Reid--we will all have to wait a couple weeks to try again (with Hagel) or begin the whole process over again with someone else (hope not).
