Please Michelle Bachmann, please run against Al.

This would be the entertainment spectacular of the decade, watching Al Franken tear Michelle Bachmann to pieces.

Crazy Eyes Bachmann may be running against Al Franken. Oh please be true.

But despite that presidential fade-out and close call back home, Bachmann is again being mentioned as a candidate for higher office -- this time as a potential challenger to first-term Democratic Sen. Al Franken in 2014.

We have three major parties in Minnesota, the Independence Party does not win very often but they do get a substantial number of votes to tilt the playing field and more often than not they take more votes from the Democrats than they do the Republicans. Most the Republicans who won statewide elections in this state won because of the Independence Party candidate spoiler. Michele Bachmann could never win a majority in this state, but if the Independence Party ran a candidate which they likely will then she could win a plurality and we would have Senator Bachmann.

Cannot happen. She'll never win enough of the Twin Cities vote to carry that off. If she did run for Senate, she's have to give up her House seat, and we'd finally be rid of her. I don't think she will, and I don't think the MN GOP would nominate her. They have better candidates. She barely carried her own district in Nov.

Crazy Eyes is just slipping by in her gerrymandered district but has little appeal in a statewide race. However, stranger things have happened.

By the end of a first debate, Bachmann would be in a fetal position on the floor twitching.

I doubt very seriously that Michele would throw her hat into the ring for a MN Senate run. I'm sure she's smart enough to know she can't win a state-wide election there.

I have my doubts about that. I can definitely see her challenging Senator Franken and believing she could win.

First Cain left. That hurt, but I still had Bachmann to poke fun at. Then she left. Still had Santorum, Newt, and Romney. Kept dwindling down, but was a great year of ridiculing each and every one of them, including Boehner, Rove, McConnell... the whole lot of them. Now that the elections are over, I feel so lost. I just wander around the internet, not knowing where to go. I stumble on a dead end, or a closed-off alley and have to back track my steps. Sigh.... I need an election-fix!

But she's probably batshit crazy enough to think she's actually popular enough in MN.
