Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?
Listening to the big bear police scanner (relating to the LAPD manhunt), snowing pretty heavy up there right now. Cops stuck in the snow, picking up a tracking dog and officer in a snow cat, etc and so on.
Last night they were clearing vacation homes up there to make sure the perp had not broken in to one for shelter.
A little bit ago they were talking about going to el pollo loco (not sure what the call was about)- but right before that were describing tracks in the snow coming up from a creek (probably some on both sides, but chatter goes in and out...).
It reminded me of the Twilight Zone episode:
