Favorite one-term president

Who is your favorite one-term president? I would say JFK, but being that he never finished his term, I'd have to say Carter.

I was too young to even know that years were counted but he has done so many amazing things since leaving office. He's an inspiration! Plus, solar panels. If the country had only followed his lead....

4. Other than JFK, I agree.

But the only thing I did not like that Carter did was to allow all the felons from Castro's prisons to come to Florida. I lived in South Florida during the Mariel boatlift and our crime rate doubled at the time.

to mention he brought back registration for Selective Service, which I have always hated and is infringing on my liberty. Other than that though, I have no 'beef' with Carter. He's cool.

If Republican idiots had adhered to his plans regarding the R&D and ultimate deployment of alternative energy generation and transmission, we'd be OUT of the Middle East and we'd have saved trillions of dollars and quite possibly the 3,000 people who died on 9/11 would still mostly be with us.
