I have to admit, regrettably, that as a full-blooded Jersey Boy he was never on my radar (hello...Madonna fan!) but I've always been intrigued by his celebrity since a young kid.

(12,359 posts)I was raised in South Jersey, in the Philly suburbs, so we have a different take on the Jersey thing.
We've been spending our summers recently in Asbury Park, which is rich with diversity. Bruce would be proud.

(12,359 posts)Concert delayed until 10 pm due to thunderstorms. He played until almost 3 am and it was his birthday.
Rumor has it that Paul McCartney was scheduled to perform but due to the weather delay backed out.
Nonetheless, great show.
