FOX: We must invade Germany to get our sun back!

Fox News: US Solar Energy Investment Less Than Germany Because US Has Less Sun

Good lord, how do these people dress themselves?

Thanks to Fox News and its expert commentators, millions of Americans now understand the real, hidden reason why Germany's solar-energy industry is so much further along than ours. Turns out it has nothing to do with the fact that Germany's government has long supported the industry far more generously, with policies like feed-in tariffs that stimulate investment in green technologies. No, the real reason is much simpler, explained a trio of journalists on Fox & Friends: It's always sunny in Germany!

And the people under the sky were also very much the same--everywhere, all over the world, hundreds or thousands of millions of people just like this, people ignorant of one another's existence. *1984

Costa del Sol, Italian Riviera all filled with Germans tourists- why why do they abandon their own sunny spots at home???

Northern Germany is in the range that doesn't have hours of solar radiation listed. Southern Germany is in the 1.0 - 1.9 band that, in the continental US, is only present in Washington, Oregon, northern Idaho and northern Montana.

I do have a tea bag relative in sunny Texas who says solar won't work there. Hurricanes is why, she said. The fact that the rainy northwest is using solar power despite the clouds didn't faze her. You or I couldn't make this stuff up, but damn if Fox doesn't do their best. Sigh.
