Fox firing Dick Morris sparks Freeper food fight!

Man oh man. You gotta look at this food fight and finger-pointing going on at the Dark Side after Fox Boobs fired Dick Morris including continued tears over November:

I know most FReepers hate both Morris and Rove, there’s really no comparison, given Rove’s campaign and WH experience. Morris has been a book/tv hack much longer than he worked for Clinton.

From RINO HUME to Benedict Rove to RomneyPhile Wallace,
Fox News is totally Faux-Conservative and
actually run by Liberals who work for Obama and the DNC.

OBAMA INFILTRATED FOX?????

And apparently here's a freeper willing to admit that Nate Silver (that damned liberal with his MATH! SKILLZ!! working for the commie NEW YORK TIMES!) was RIGHT:

Here are some of the folks FReepers tended to trust who got it wrong last November ( as far as I can remember ):

Karl Rove,
High Hewitt,
Dick Morris,
Wayne Allyn Root (Las Vegas odds maker who claims he’s seldom wrong)
Gallup,
Rasmussen

(add your name or organization here ).

The two most correct predictors:

Nate Silver of the NY Times

INTRADE Market

The "who was worse, Morris or Rove" battle continues:

They fired the wrong guy, IMO. Should’ve dumped Tokyo Rove.

And here's a freeper who admits being as wrong as Morris:

What was truly surprsing to me were states like VA, OH, FL, and CO which I thought Romney would easily carry. I also thought Romney and Ryan would make a breakthrough in the upper Midwest in places like WI and MI where they both have strong ties and IA which sometimes vote GOP and I even thought Illinois too because the Dems bankrupted that state.

Given Mitt’s Northeast background, I also thought we could pick up a few states in that region as well such as NH and ME. Given Mitt’s LDS affiliation, I thought we would do better in some of the Western states including NV, CO, and NM.

Truthfully, I am utterly clueless in this new political environment and don’t even recognize my country anymore, it’s culture or its politics. A complete disconnect. I was as wrong as Morris. So I won’t be too tough on him.

That was in response to this post:

LOL, Free Republic is schizophrenic on this issue. Much of its readership blames the loss on running RINOs like Romney. Others like you blame it on demographics. It cannot be both. If the demographics have shifted in favor of a "gimme, gimme" electorate, then a more conservative candidate would have done even worse than Romney.

And this one thinks that Morris will become a wannabe MSNBC commentator at his new home CNN:

Never really knew how to take Dick Morris considering his big ties to klintoon before he landed at FNC and sounded almost too GOP.

Will be interesting what his stance will be at CNN. That should clarify the true Dick Morris.

a total failure, get a cushy job at a major network almost immediately after being fired from Fox and being such an ass by going out on a limb and proclaiming that Romney would win in a landslide? Only on cable.

He was on Piers Morgan's show. Maybe an audition, but I don't think a contract has been signed.

except it was for the wrong reason. What FOX News touts does not represent conservatism; it is regressivism. True conservatives IMO want to conserve things, whether it is welfare, Affirmative Action, Social Security, the Voting Rights Act, or the environment. The vast majority of the denizens of FreeRepublic and FOX News typically want to get rid of all that stuff and go back to various policies from "the Good Ole' Days", thus making them regressives, not conservatives.
