1. A researcher just found that poem in Sandburg's papers.

There was just an article about it in our local paper in the last couple of weeks. Sandburg's papers are here at the U of Illinois and they've been working through them (for a while, I'd say...) Anyhow, a researcher was going though it all and found this poem that nobody knew about. They verified the authenticity with the type and the kind of paper it was written on. I knew Sandburg was a pretty outspoken pacifist, but this poem just blew me away.
