I was able to stay home with my husband during his final month. Didn't make the end any easier, but the thought of having to go to work everyday was a heart-wrenching nightmare. Had I known earlier that I was eligible (I thought I would have to take the time off with-out pay) I would have spent his last 3 months at home with him. How anyone could vote against this is a total mystery to me. These people truly have no hearts. Jack Kingston is on Bill Maher from time to time, and I think Bill treats him a lot more gently than he deserves...he needs to get hit between the eyes on this.
