The Abe administration, which has just embarked on the improvement of Sino-Japanese relations, was shaken when (Japanese) Maritime Self-Defense Force escort were illuminated by laser sight radar for weapons firing by Chinese naval vessels. It will be unavoidable to the worsening of relations just as while looking for improved relations began, such as the visit of a representative of the New Komeito man Yamaguch. On February 5th, the Foreign Ministry has made a strong protest to the Chinese side, but there is a possibility that criticism will come because it appears to be a week has passed since the occurrence, and the announcement was delayed report from the Ministry of Defense.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the radar irradiation for a few minutes either. The helicopter took evasive action to change the course and escorts who received irradiation. It was kept in irradiated escort radar was confirmed by the sensing device, because there is a difference between the analytical capabilities of the sensing device with the escort, helicopters and "suspicious". I did not disclose as "it will give away secrets of surveillance" concrete sea area irradiated.
Receive a report of the Ministry of Defense, 5 days, to the Chinese Embassy in Japan China Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, to protest against a "risky behavior but that does not invite Kane contingencies", Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly to prevent recurrence was determined. The Chinese side that was kept to answer with "I want to check the facts."
5 pm, received a report from the Defense Minister in the Prime Minister's Office 典 five Onodera, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who approved the publication. Around the prime minister said, "there (irradiation) could mean that it took time for the analysis. Had heard," he suggests that the response to carefully consider the relationship with China.
I made it clear while said day and night 5, told reporters that Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida is "protested immediately" at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had received a request to protest to China from the Ministry of Defense had it from getting on the same day.

And with Osaka now getting assaulted today by CHina's out of control air pollution, it must be said that China appears to be going south as a country.
Their government propaganda is used to deflect public opinion from them to an "external enemy" and so they use Japan as the bad guy and, as a result, they have whipped up flames of anger -for political purposes.

The Japanese navy is technologically as good as the US Navy and the Japanese military has always fought well.
This would be a naval and air war as neither country has the ability to invade the other. The Japanese army isn't big enough and the Chinese military lacks the amphibious assets and experience to invade Japan.
I really hope the Chinese are just bluffing, because this has the potential to escalate quickly and draw in other countries, including the US and both North and South Korea
