Well, finally a republican is creating jobs.

Kansas senator Greg Smith has introduced a bill that requires employers to rehire state legislators when they lose their re-election or retire from the legislature.

Any person who is elected or appointed to the state legislature and who gave notice thereof to the person's employer, upon return from the legislative session, failure to be re-elected to the legislature or retirement from the legislature, shall be reinstated in or restored to the position of employment, except a temporary position, which the person held at the time the person was elected or appointed to the state legislature.

And before that, he was a cop. Before that, in the military.

So he's been suckling at the government tit for his entire working career.

... it says, if you left your job by choice because you wanted to be a 'legislator' (read 'someone enslaved to ALEC') and the voters finally wise up and kick you out, then you get to displace the person who took over your job, and likely performed far better than you did in whatever capacity it entailed, and return to your former level of incompetence.

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again.
...
Look out
Helter skelter, helter skelter
Helter skelter.
