Milwaukee man is competent to stand trial over shooting teenager
I talked to a guy who lives in the neighborhood the guy is from.
He says the shooter was getting old and paranoid, and racist as hell.
Would lose his stuff and blame neighborhood "coloreds" for the thefts.
MILWAUKEE —A judge ruled Monday morning that a Milwaukee man accused of killing his teenage neighbor is competent to stand trial.
John Spooner, 76, appeared in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Monday after results of a mental health exam were filed Friday.
He's accused of fatally shooting 13-year-old Darius Simmons last May over an alleged theft.
