Lady Gaga shocked a group of lawyers by launching into a foul-mouthed rant about her former personal assistant during a sworn deposition for an ongoing court case.
The singer is locked in a legal battle with former employee Jennifer ONeill, who claims she is owed overtime payments from her time on tour with the singer.
ONeill, who spent 13 months working as Gagas aide, filed suit against bosses of the singers Mermaid Touring Company claiming she is owed $380,000 for 7,168 hours of overtime.
During the testimony, obtained by the New York Post, Gaga described ONeill as a [bleep] hood rat who is suing me for money that she didnt earn, adding, She thinks shes just like the queen of the universe. And, you know what, she didnt want to be a slave to one, because in my work and what I do, Im the queen of the universe every day.
Gaga went on to admit she doesnt pay any overtime to any of her employees, insisting ONeill knew exactly what she was getting into
This whole case is bull[bleep].

(26,355 posts)Approximately 390 days of work, assuming (and this is a big assumption) that she worked every day, got zero days off, zero weekends, zero nothings - worked EVERY DAY.
That's about 18 hours of overtime, every day.
I think Jennifer O'Neill is exaggerating. It's virtually impossible to get 7,168 hours of overtime crammed into 13 months.

(9,933 posts)She is on call everyday, all day, all night, all weekend. And when I say her boss is high maintenance it's no joke...
Crappy job.

(29,414 posts)That brings the overtime hours to 12 per day. That's still an exaggeration because that would mean 20-hour workdays, every day.
I'm not a fan of Gaah Gaah at all, but I hope someone points out that math problem

(29,414 posts)as I know people here older than me (almost 52) that like her. Me, not so much. I did give her several "opportunities" by listening to her music. I found nothing unique. I'm happy with the modern Middle Eastern music I listen to anyway
