Christian Right radio host: Birth control turns wombs into graveyards. Actual graveyards.

Well, here’s some medical research we hadn’t heard about. Generations Radio host Kevin Swanson, who last week delved memorably into feminist theory, tells us this week that “certain doctors and certain scientists” have researched the wombs of women on the pill and found “there are these little tiny fetuses, these little babies, that are embedded into the womb…Those wombs of women who have been on the birth control pill effectively have become graveyards for lots and lots of little babies.”

Swanson must be speaking with the same doctors as former Rep. Todd Akin. Even Kevin Peeples, whom Swanson is interviewing about his anti-contraception documentary Birth Control: How Did We Get Here?, isn’t quite sold on the evidence.

Swanson: I’m beginning to get some evidence from certain doctors and certain scientists that have done research on women’s wombs after they’ve gone through the surgery, and they’ve compared the wombs of women who were on the birth control pill to those who were not on the birth control pill. And they have found that with women who are on the birth control pill, there are these little tiny fetuses, these little babies, that are embedded into the womb. They’re just like dead babies. They’re on the inside of the womb. And these wombs of women who have been on the birth control pill effectively have become graveyards for lots and lots of little babies.

Calling this bull (which it is) aside, this sounds like a plot to a cheesy horror movie or something. "I'm sorry ma'am, but the Unborn are... attached to your uterus!!"

I've got all of that going on, right now, in my womb!! In fact, they want to put in a second Starbucks, but the zoning department is against it. They have to conduct public hearings and then there's a 60-day comment period before the matter is settled.

Mine just voted down a Wal Mart and a Sam's club for that very reason. The hardware store and the sporting goods store were the biggest opponents, and I have to say I agree with them.

Uterine zoning is very important.

Where do they get this fucking bullshit? He really needs to get a microscope and stick it up his penis and search for the dead babies clogging his scrotum. They have to be there, after all baby sperms are stuck in there.

because it works the same way. These are doctors? Don't they know the rationale behind the Pill? It is designed to trick the body into thinking it is already pregnant, or LACTATING. No ovulation when pregnant,t or newborn nursing. The uterine lining, which I think (????} they are talking about, does not build up so a fertilized egg cannot implant, IF ovulation does occur.

This happens also with breastfeeding; no ovulation and no lining buildup. Not a medical professional, but this is how my doctor explained it to me. If anyone here is a medicare professional, feel free to add to my understanding of it.

I was nursing my 2 month old daughter on demand, round the clock, but she got a cold, and had a hard time nursing. I did not get a period, but had some "staining" that month. By chance, my check up was only days afterwords. My doctor said from his exam it appeared that I had conceived, BUT that staining was probably the passing of the embryo because it could not implant because of the breastfeeding. Oh, NO. I killed the UNBORN by keeping alive the ALREADY BORN! While my primary concern was feeding my child, if breastfeeding acted as THE PILL and birth control, did I CARE? Absolutely NOT.

QUACK "doctors".

other than fetuses involved in pregnancies to hear these a**holes talking. But I guess as long as the women are really "graveyards" it's o.k. to mention them. Has anyone ever said the words "necrotic tissue" to any of them? I think they're truly insane, and need to be restrained as "danger(s) to others".

Yeah, like you said the same kind of doctors who think that a woman's body can prevent pregnancy after a "legitimate rape". For people who like to tell women what to do with their bodies they sure know very little about how they work.
