(392 posts)I have another grandfather who immigrated to the USA from Wales. He read in the paper that a city hall burnt down and all records destroyed. He wrote the city to ask for a new birth certificate. Even thought this person was not born here he sure fit in since he was from Wales. My mexican grand parents fit in perfect in S.F. since this city has a big hispanic population. There are many hispanics out there today who have blue eyes and blond hair so this should scare the old timers who can not tell who is a minority by the color of their skin like my blue eyes children.
I am also glad that the hispanic population is increasing and will become a important influential group in the future.

(5 posts)These are hilarious. Matt Weurker, of "walled world after all" above, is one of my favorites.
If we're recommending liberal cartoons, I have to recommend this hilarious comic, about a corporation that uses its privatized orphanage for child labor:

And I assume everyone knows the awesome Matt Bors:

Cartoons are a great and underappreciated outreach tool.
