A car on the freeway about a hundred yards ahead of me started shooting sparks and careened to the side of the road. Suddenly, one of the front wheels took off at about 60 mph. It rode on the narrow shoulder for about a half a mile, then climbed a low concrete wall and half way up the embankment before descending back to the shoulder. It was still rolling when I got off the next exit!

(269,093 posts)3. I'm laughing because it's Palin's bus
and it's only metaphorically real.
In real life I would be terrified.

That reminds me, I need tires.

Is that the true design of her bus? It just occurred to me that such a motto of civility -- "one nation...indivisible" or "freedom for all" -- has no business being used by a hate-mongering, anti-choice, anti-gay marriage twit. In fact, no Republican has a right to claim to represent that motto.
