What is even the purpose on this Hearing on Gun Violence??

The gun advocates are arguing their case for hands off guns - very well.

The people that want more regulations are arguing their case - very well.

It's a heated debate, all sides represented.

All this is doing is making people fight harder for their side.

Does anyone really believe this is going to help in controlling gun violence???

and help the entrenched dig in on both sides.

What they should have done was post huge posters of the weapons used in those mass killings all around the room (to show off the manly manliness of LaPU, of course) and vivid pictures of the faces of the 20 children from Newtown (Americans don't care about the adults getting killed, but their hearts just might create a beat for the twenty slaughtered children) if they were serious about common sense gun control laws. They didn't, so they're not. The bribes from gun manufacturers is just too sweet for the bought and owned congresscritters that's supposed to be working FOR US.
