Why does Sean Hannity always refer to Pres. Obama as "the anointed one"?

Where did this idea come from that he's some type of king or dictator? First I heard Rand Paul talk about him trying to be a "monarch", and now I just heard Hannity with that "anointed one" crap on a clip shown on Bashir's show.

A friend of mine (life-long, liberal - lesbian) suddenly (and irrationally) became fed up with Democrats when Hillary lost to Obama. She started "just reading" other right-wing sites and blogs. It wasn't long before she -- yes, a life-long liberal Democrat, lesbian -- starting spewing some of the ugly right-wing memes. I couldn't believe it, and she, in turn, starting talking about how intolerant her Democratic friends had become just because she had opened her mind (face-palm) to the other side.

She has since sworn off all politics. Says she is tired of waiting for the Dems to do the right thing. She has become one who hates government and excuses anything Hillary says/does. I'm a Hillary fan, too, but wow.

Anyway, she will not refer to Obama as president and hates him and refers only to him as anointed, conceited, etc., etc. I am at a loss to the level of hatred she has for him. And she will never donate to, work for, or otherwise engage in Democratic politics.

I am assuming she'll be on board for Hillary, whom she has (ironically!) turned into a saint. She does not see the irony of course.

Meanwhile, I know of no one who thinks of Obama as "anointed," except for the right-wing types. I cannot believe how she turned so easily.

This pinhead has never had an original thought in his life. I doubt he ever uttered the word "anointed" on his own initiative. He is the only one of these wing nut radio asswipes stupid enough to really believe all the shit he blurts out regularly.

The people who tell Hannity what to say know their audience - old, uneducated, white, resentful and looking for scapegoats to blame for their own crappy lives.
