Good Ideal Running Thread of Democrats to support for House seats in all States lets get their names

out there and start the ball now so we can steam roll the Republicans and take over the house.

Please start listing names of actual candidates that are planning to run and maybe we can ask the nice powers that be to create us a sticky so that we can use it running from now to 2014?

I would love to see us steamroll the House, Governorships and LOCAL elections for that matter.

Just an ideal floating in my head...

That way if we find the MSM is doing nothing and the local media is shutting them out we at least can telegraph, communicate and donate for candidates that are Democratic...I wanna see the House go blue

I'd like to see DU be something more than a place to chatter about ephemeral happenings. Make it a site where we can get into the nitty & gritty politics--who are the candidates, what do they stand for, what are their prospects, and what can we do to help them.

We shouldn't be limited to just House/Senate candidates, either. The state and local elections are VITAL to our long-term political health, and we neglect them at our peril. What happened this week in Virginia, and what is happening in Virginia, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania regarding their Electoral College voting, is due to our neglecting the local scene too much. I fear that it's coming in Missouri and other states where the reds dominate the state houses. The tide of dumb laws on abortion and women's health issues is another consequence, and turning it around will not happen at the Congressional level. We need to turn this tide at that level, and stop pinning so much of our hopes on national elections. Democrats don't have the deep pockets of the Koch brothers and Adelsons to rely on, so we have to be smarter, more vigilant, more nimble, and work harder. That's what will ultimately defeat the Republican/right-wing machine.

The problem is that one DU post will quickly find it's way to "Digital Valhalla" and not get the kind of presents required.
Possibly a forum or group?
Could the folk at the DNC that keep sending out "sign this petition" help?
How about those DU'ers that write for the more conventional press come up with something?
Could this OP be a place to start some 'blue skying' as to how to organize and execute this?
Any ideas?
We do need to get the vermin out of the House.

There is such little traffic to there compared to GD I hate to see the ideal buried and not pounded...

I would LOVE to see these nut bags gone from both local and national politics.

I'll send PM's I guess to the Hosts for the forum see what they think...I may be already duplicatiing what they are already doing.

Drew.

That might be an easy way to get the ball rolling and give us a semi-centralized location to list candidates and discuss their merits/campaigns etc.
