‘Twisted Sister’ Reminds Republicans Of The Time Ted Nugent Pooped His Pants To Dodge Vietnam

In an interview with music website Noisecreep, “Twisted Sister” frontman Dee Snider said he doesn’t know why most Republicans who seem to love fellow rocker Ted Nugent cannot seem to recall him dodging the draft during the Vietnam war in the most revolting way possible: by pooping and vomiting on himself for a week, and doing hard drugs.

“Ted’s always been a gun-toting conservative,” he said after being asked to opine on Nugent’s claim that he’s prepared to launch an armed revolt against the U.S. government over the reelection of Presidnet Barack Obama. “But what gets me is that he was actually a draft dodger! I mean, to the point where he didn’t bathe for a week, and vomited on himself to deliberately avoid the draft.”

It wasn’t all criticism, though: “I totally understand why he did that,” Snider added, “but all of these Republicans who love Ted don’t seem to know or remember that too well. It’s crazy that he’s become one of the voices of conservative America even though he was a draft dodger. If you don’t believe me, Google it.”

Nugent lashed back at Snider on Twitter, saying he had fallen “for the big lie” and adding: “I challenge u to man up to the truth We xpected btr.”

If you're going to take the time to contest what Mr. Snider said, surely you should be able to specify WHY it's a lie. Everyone knows the truth, Nugent is a draft dodging, child molesting, disgusting hypocrite.

by using his student deferment.

The fact remains that given the opportunity to serve his country Nugent chose not to which makes all his "stand up and fight" BS now laughable.

Figures. He is totally engulfed with hate and FEAR. Those are core Republican characteristics, as is the draft-dodging war mongering and saber rattling.

Pitiful. Just pitiful. Republicans really need to find someone with a shred of integrity to represent them. This endless parade of chickenhawk Republican gun suckers is sad. It's just sad.

You need a Democrat for that. repigs worship at the altar of the Golden Calf; they would sell their children & parents for a penny. No integrity there.

Thu Jan 24, 2013, 04:59 PM
Jan 2013
A copy of Ted Nugent's Selective Service classification record documents elements of both versions of the story: He was classified 1-S (high school student deferment) in 1967 and 2-S (college student deferment) in 1968; then after being reclassified 1-A (available for military service) in 1969 he was rejected as a result of a physical examination and given a 1-Y classification. (The 1-Y classification denoted persons "qualified for service only in time of war or national emergency" and was generally assigned to registrants who had exhibited medical conditions that were limiting but not disabling). After the 1-Y classification was eliminated at the end of 1971, Nugent was reclassified as 4-F.

****************************************************
Nugent was born in 1948. Nugent says he went to Oakland Community College. Looks like he went to school for only a year. (Not a serious student)
A year after he quits school, he gets some type of medical disqualification. (I'm not knowledgeable about these classifications)

So, Ted doesn't want to explain the medical disqualification, he's a draft dodger and a liar.

But, I am still calling him Poopy Pants. It's too catchy to give up and that story came out of his mouth. I think what really happened is somewhere in the middle of his story and him going in with no plan to avoid the war. He probably did act insane in some way either by taking drugs or whatever. I don't think he didn't take a shower for a month, pooped and vomited all over himself and came close to death according to him. But, I don't think he went in as he normally acts either, unless it's how he normally acts now. Cuz that would be funny if he went in as a gun totting yahoo that couldn't wait to play shoot'em up and the military said thanks but no thanks.

TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider has joined fellow hard rockers Ted Nugent and Gene Simmons in saying the war against former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein was justified.

Speaking to Insight magazine's John Berlau, Snider said, "Weapons of mass destruction or not, he [Saddam] was asking for it, and he got it. As far as kicking his ass, he deserved it.
