Under the Latter: "Now we know they also like to Cheat"

Or any ideas to make it easier to get what the hell's going on over there....

1. They aren't cheating. They are playing political hardball. I do hope DU'ers understand that.

This isn't rigging, it's not cheating.

It's political hardball. It's knowing the rules and using them to their advantage.

It's laying the groundwork and moving toward their endgame.

The Democratic party hasn't played hardball since the Kennedys were shot dead. Republicans have been grooming folks at the most local levels of government for decades now. Democrats? Not so much. That's the one thing I loved Howard Dean for. Especially after the Clinton years left local Democratic parties suffering in many, many areas around the country.

This isn't cheating. It's reptiles using the system to their advantage. Democratic strategists need to counter and retaliate. And a lot has to be done on very local levels. Levels where far left and moderate Democrats work together.

2. It is completely counter to the very CONCEPT of Majority Rule.

There is no advantage to think of it as a damn GAME.

5. yes, actually. I'd probably do something centered around concept of "will of the people"

a huge crowd of people on one side of a scale being outweighed by 5 Republican state reps on the other.
