Did Democrats hold hearings for Lebanon Bombings ?

Hi,

Did the Democratic Congress hold hearings after the Marine Barracks bombing in Lebanon & try to gain political capital with it. From what I can find on the the internet, the answer is NO ! President Reagan did order an investigation, but it seems the Democrats in congress acted well & did not hold hearings like the Dog & pony show on the Benghazi hearings of the Republicans. Correct me if I am wrong on this.

The Republicans today continue to show how they have lost their Humanity & care not for anyone but their own perverted selves.

1. I just asked my husband, he was just out of the Marines at that time.

He did say they did and he said they did a hell of a better job that this "bullshit, point fest" ( His words).

He had friends die in that bombing.

it would have been the mirror of today where the Dems hand the House and the GOP the Senate and the Presidency.

3. There were hearings, but they were very tepid

because Reagan invaded Grenada and Panama shortly after.
I'm convinced to this day his action were designed to avoid public scrutiny of the failure of the administration in the Lebanon massacre.

But there was some other PR stunt following Grenada, just can;t quite remember this minute. This old memory bank is sometimes on over load.
