We have a dead cat in Arkansas and bulls eyes on Democratic state Senators doors and one Republican to make it appear bipartisan. Now we are seeing an escalation of hostilities. With the eliminationist rhetoric, hate and racism by "hillbillies" and "southern white trash" (particularly in Missouri) growing daily we have an election that is growing more incendiary by the day.

Were this 1865 we would already have a shooting civil war in this country. The brewing political war will make the Hatfield and McCoy feud look like a Sunday picnic. We are no longer having any kind of debate. The lines of hostility have already been drawn by the GOP and evilangelists

This trend is a trend that must be taken seriously by progressives, liberals and Democrats. The open racism, code words and attacks against Obama grow by the day and is ignored by the "liberal" (?) mainstream media. What happened to representative Giffords can happen again.

Gifford's transgressor was undeniably mentally ill. The chief offenders with their hate rhetoric will be the instigators egging on the less stable in our society. The silence of GOP candidates and politicians is palpable.

3. The Flag

If any flag deserves to be burned the Confederate flag should be. I wonder what would happen if someone burned that flag and put it on the net to view in the South. When I was a Fort Polk in 1968 I did not understand the complete hatred of anyone from the north. During training we were constantly reminded of that hatred. It still exists today. The Civil War has never really ended.

In my home town in my old neighborhood, some bigot near my boyhood home flies a huge Confederate flag.

Not sure what you are doing here, but it sounds to me like you are broadbrushing Missourians. Why are "'hillbillies' and 'southern white trash'" "particularly in Missouri?"
