Does that mean that he had no radio or phone? It seems like one or the other should always be available to bus driver.

.. when you don't encourage weapons training with kids.

"Shots were fired"...?

The kid is obviously not shooting correctly, or he'd have hit somebody.

Probably jerking the trigger, or doing that "sideways shooting" thing they do in the movies.

We need an NRA program to teach kids to shoot straight.

Next time, then, maybe that kid will score some hits.

"Witnesses were located who stated a male tried getting on the bus, but the driver wouldn’t let him. After he exited the bus and it was pulling off, the male fired several shots at the bus, then left the scene," police Sgt. Marisa Barnes said in a news release.

A Hickman Mills School District spokesman said a man asked the school bus driver for a ride. When the bus driver refused, the man offered to pay $20, but the driver still refused. The spokesman said that as the driver pulled away, the man fired shots at the bus

someone who thought he had a right to demand that everyone and everything bend to his wishes and convenience.

The fact that he turned out to be armed and willing to shoot at a busload of kids is a good illustration of why a school bus driver should not be giving rides to people other than the students he has been hired to transport, even if that person offers money for the ride.

You can solve any problem with it.

I remember how happy I was when I got a calculator that could do square roots. Now, if somebody asks me an arithmatic question, I can just shoot them.

I love living in a civilized country!
