Sorry if this is a dup'e, but you need to see this picture of Scalia from yesterday:

It appears that Thomas Moore hat has gone to Scalia's head.

Who is his boss? The Catholic Church? or ALL of the people of the USA?

Why can't someone like this be fired?

It's scarey to have that sort of thing going on on the highest court there is.

Perhaps someone should give him his wish; hat and head out the door, without separating anything from his body, of course.

in the NRA's Bushmaster markets abroad IS Catholic. You may recall that Xe was formerly the big war profiteer in Iraq, known as Blackwater.

There's also some rather aristocratic organizations, such as the Papal Order of the Golden Spur, a supporter of the Shah or Iran before his deposition, and this http://www.tfp.org/ out there.

Just part of what's at stake here in re the 2nd Amendment and, hence, to other issues that will come before this court:

given him by a Catholic organization dedicated to Sir Thomas More, hence the Thomas More hat. If you don't know why that is significant, it would probably be more useful to you to remember that google is your friend, so you can decide for yourself.

Those of us who are concerned about separation of church and state wonder why a judge on SCOTUS would appear to be so completely ignorant of what his behavior looks like in this situation, but then I guess you'd have to know why Thomas More is remembered to get that point, but then also I suppose, if it is a signal about Tony's attitude toward separation between church and state, it is not lost on those on the RELIGIOUS side of those who care about that issue.

hear/see the media do it's usual propaganda in support of corporate personhood and downplay this and I won't deny that there is some possibility that they are right, but it's only a possibility, so that means that there is also a possibility that they are wrong. Right?:Wrong? even at a 50:50 probability, I'd still say that's significant considering what's coming onto the SCOTUS calendar pretty soon.

separation of church and state issues today.

You might also review things that were said about separation of church and state during the last campaign year, see Paul Ryan, and birth control legal issues within the context of the Affordable Care Act of 2010, for example, but the issues have been just under the surface ever since Kennedy, so you might review his speech on the matter too.

He is a living example of the meaning of the word "dyspeptic."

Although the literal meaning refers to indigestion, it developed to mean having or habitually displaying bad temper.
