Mormons and the Mormon Church donated over half the money that was spent to finance the Proposition 8 campaign that took away the rights of gays and lesbians in California to get married.

What a mean, horrible thing for a "church" to do to harmless, innocent people.

Anyone know what Romney's take on this might be? I haven't heard him mention anything.

Until 1978, African-Americans were very restricted in the roles they could serve in the Mormon Church. To his credit, Romney always opposed that discrimination.
