I am a sucker ...... National Day of Service

I got a call yesterday from Washington, D.C. from the Obama people
and they asked if I could give them 2 hours of labor today and I said
yes ..... it must be that me and the B-man are so tight. He sends me
emails all the time and he knows my first name too so I figured it was the
least I could do. No doubt the B-man will be at where I will volunteer today
and will want to know what I think he should do. Should I have a list already
written down for him or should I just tell him what I think needs to be done?

1. I just saw the First Couple on the news painting some shelves at a school.

2. No I was working outside @ a Boys and Girls' Club in Ohio

...... I got a lot done because they didn't come out and bug me.

Because i would have to stop and working "chat them up."

BTW I live in a modest house in a middle class neighborhood
and the poverty I saw not more than 15 minutes from my
house was bad ....... some self inflected and some because of
things beyond the control of the people who live in the area .....
I will go back in the spring and help to set up a community garden.
