Anybody know the difference between a Bushmaster and the M4 currently carried by the military?

Functionally the only difference is the M4 can fire three times with one trigger pull, the Bushmaster one round per trigger pull.

Two bullets per pull. That's all.

And the M4 is exactly the same thing... 2 rounds per trigger pull.

Same for all semiautos.

3. It won't ever happen, but yeah. I see no need for civilians to have access to semi automatic guns,

long or short, with removable magazines. If you absolutely have to have a removable magazine limit them to 5 rounds 'cause you can't hit anything with the first 5 you really don't have any business with a gun anyway. If you need a short gun for self defense, try a S&W 357.
