Homicides involving multiple offenders: 20.3%

The sharp percentage spike is probably due to the number of homicides dropping dramatically in about 1990 or so. I would suspect the number of multiple-offender homicide incidents remained fairly constant, but as the rate fell, it became a larger percentage. Same size slice of pie, but from a smaller pie, if you will.
