There was a sheriff from Oregon on MSNBC

saying that he was not going to enforce the gun control suggestions.

Wasn't there a shooting at a mall in Portland just a few days before the Newton moved it to the back pages of news?

The anchor did not ask him about that.

The sheriff agreed about mental illness and, again, I wonder whether any of the recent mass shooters, including the one in Portland would have been flagged.

...and if we did we wouldn't need more.


We should thank the sheriff for demonstrating how well that works out: the reason why they're not enforced is because they're not enforced.
