Funeral services were held today for Lillian Lewis,

Condolences to Representative Lewis and his family.

1. His family and friends need to watch him carefully for the next year or so

long time married men who lose their wives often get sick or worse within the first year after a spouses death.

2. I'm already worried for a friend whose husband just passed away last Friday.

We had the funeral services today. Very heartwrenching - he was a giant in the Denver Jewish community.

3. I remember how much my grandpa aged when my grandma died

I thought we were going to lose him. He did right himself and lived for another 8 years. My dad remarried and also lasted about 8 years. Women seem to be more able to deal with it for some reason.
