Kinda Big Update On My Petition Ending Corporate Media

I just opened my e-mail about 30 minutes ago and saw a big surprise. Apparently I am not the only one as passionate about "Restoring The Airwaves" and ending corporate media.

I won't name them since I'm not sure I have permission, but they apparently are a documentary film maker who shares my interest in this cause. There is supposed to be a screening (May?) about corporate media and the damage it has done to our communities.

I don't know about you, but I need a New Years surprise, or boost, present, etc.

When this documentary screens, he will promote my petition during the event.

Now how friggin awsome is that for a naive, timid, bashful activist like myself?

I want to make this happen. I dream of us someday having local radio again--especially progressive radio. I want to turn on my radio again and listen to my favorite music format(smooth jazz) any where I go.

I've never engaged in this kind of fight before. But I am doing it now. I just hope the support and energy continues so ALL OF US can win this fight.
