Nobody on here has said it yet so I will.... Senator Barney Frank

Barney Frank used to annoy me.
Then Barney Frank sort of amazed me.
Then Barney Frank proved himself to be one hell of a fighter.
Then Barney Frank spoke with candor when no one else did.
Then he was one of my favorites.
Then he retired.
And DC got more boring as he got more quiet.
And now he might be Senator.

And I say D.C. would be a better place to have his voice back.

If not, it's a special election, which is how they got stuck with Code Brown in the first place.

just telling us that fannie and freddie were solvent is enough for me to dislike his abilities, we need new blood and new answers to the problems he helped create.

He would be the PERFECT placeholder. He knows everyone in the delegation, and he knows how the Hill runs, plus, he can bring along a few of his own staff to keep things moving in the constituent services end of things.
