He had to call in Biden for the rescue. Guests are Andrea Mitchell, Newt Gingrich and Michael Steele.
No links, I'm just disgusted by the rewrite of history.

(34,857 posts)What's the point of having a vice-president if you don't use him? Why should Obama feel comfortable negotiating with these fools? They've had their knives in his back from day one. Fuck 'em all ... especially that nasty Andrea Mitchell.

I love how this very narrative - with the inclusion of Biden - implies that the deal Obama ultimately got was a win (otherwise it wouldn't make sense to talk about Biden coming in). So the deal was a win, but Obama's a weak negotiator? Um, what?
Yesterday Boehner pledged never to do one-on-one negotiations with Obama again. If he was so weak, shouldn't Boenher be crowing and planning for the next one-on-one?
The whole narrative is a concocted conservative lie, and it's only a shame that so many of our allies have fallen for it hook, line, and sinker. Still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest la la la la la la la.... That the right constantly find novel ways to manipulate people on the left is not particularly surprising.
