TX loser (to TeaBagger) Lt Governor's campaign aide being investigated for $600K missing
Couldn't find a pic of the "Buddy"/accused embezzler. So on the left below is Goodhair's vice-governor/loser and on the right is the nutcase/TeaBagger/Cuban-American he lost to, Ted CRUZ, who will be taking Kay Bailey HUTCHINSON's seat in January.

You folks from foreign states probably don’t know David Dewhurst but he’s hot snot in Texas.
Dewhurst is the Lt. Governor, known as Gov Lite around here, and ran against Crazy Ted Cruz in the Republican primary for Senate. And lost. Big time. ....
Republicans will not only steal from you, they will steal from each other.
I did find way too much amusement in some of Buddy Barfield’s tweets — (“had a blowout 3rd quarter; raising $4.7M”) -- Yeah, and I’m stealing most of it. ....
Buddy Barfield knows where a lot of bodies are buried and if some of Dewhurts’s state money was funneled into his federal race, this could be more fun than a sock hop.
But don’t worry about ole Buddy. He’ll come out just fine. ....

Prosecutors confirmed an investigation Friday into allegations of massive fraud and theft by Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst’s campaign manager as associates of Kenneth “Buddy” Barfield pointed to his penchant for big property deals and moneymaking ventures as possible causes for his downfall.
While those who knew and worked with Barfield said they were stunned by accusations that the Austin consultant may have embezzled at least $600,000 — and possibly much more — from the Republican’s campaign account over five years, they also said his moneymaking interests may have been a warning sign. ....
But there also were reports of friction between Barfield and others on Dewhurst’s campaign team over what strategy to use against rival (TeaBagger/Cuban, replacing Kay Bailey HUTCHINSON) Ted Cruz before the GOP Senate primary.
While some thought it best to ignore Cruz as much as possible, Barfield pushed for the campaign to sharpen its attacks on Cruz, efforts that many analysts now believe were too exaggerated and turned voters against Dewhurst.
Cruz went on to win the Senate race in November. ....
